Impact is the Only Measurement
I was reminded again this past week about something that is really important to all this leadership stuff that you talk about and read about. You see, you can gain all kinds of valuable information from the leadership development stuff that you learn about from those around you, you can read all kinds of leadership books, you can gain inspiration from quotes and learn how to be a leader from some great experiences in your life. You can do all of this stuff and have all of the right leadership tools…. but it doesn’t mean much if there’s not impact on the other end.
The reason that you are getting filled… is so that you can pour that back out.
The reason that you learn all of this stuff… is so that you can use it.
The reason that you are growing and being developed…. is so that you can make an even BIGGER difference.
But it all revolves around impact. You can have all the tools in the world, but if you don’t use them – what are they good for?
Impact. Impact. Impact.
Impact is the only measurement.
